Nokia Meego

Nokia is Dead? This is a comment that was express to us at the weekend. We are Nokia users and for several years too. Our company is due to upgrade our company mobiles this month. We knew this was happening so have been on the hunt for quite a while as a lot of our current phones are Nokia N900 which is a Linux based phone running Maemo 5 originally designed for a tablet, but we have to say a great directional bit of technology.
So we have been waiting for its replacement the N9 which on paper was meant to be top spec running Meego yet another Linux OS which showed very good foresight as everyone knows that Nokia Symbyian is light years behind and not what is needed to move with the ever changing demand of mobile users.
Corporate decisions will be just that and as such Nokia has canned its N9 just before its launch. There is no other Nokia phone that comes close to the kinda of demand and spec we need so we have now decided not to wait any longer, HTC Desire HD here we come.
Moral its unlikely we will return to Nokia even though I personally have used a Nokia since the early 90’s, they simply have lost touch with the reality of there consumers.
